Had I known that this book was to be continued, I would've chosen something else. It was a good read, but I will have forgotten about it by the time the next one is available.
Loved the story, anxiously waiting fo the second. Will love to be notified when it comes out. I must know what stepmommy is hiding.
I have read novels about the Amish, including some that were series. I have not read even one that left me hanging at the end like this one. This book is very thin, so why didn't she just continue the story to make it a thicker book and charge more for the book instead of leaving you hanging as if it was a mystery book. I thought it was just supposed to be a romance novel. I really like the story and the way it was written. In fact, I was thinking of recommending it to my friend. Now I will have to decide if I really want to recommend it.
The book was a good read although it was a short and left a cliff hanger cannot wait to read Book 2 in this series.
This was a good beginning to what I hope is a series of stories as I did NOT want this one to end...I want to learn more about Rebecca's family and Eve's family as well. My curiosity is quite piqued!
This was like a long chapter. It ended abruptly. While I would like to know the rest of the story, I probably won't buy it. I feel cheated.
This book The Stepmother had several stories going in it at the same time but never ended any of them. Just left you hanging. A very short book also very surprised it was less than a 100 pages. Did not care for the book that had no ending to any of there stories. No stars for a rating.
Definitely now putting Brenda Maxfield on my list of fab authors. Can't wait to read the 2nd part of this series.
