This book covers 100% of exam objectives and you get both OCA and OCP for $50, it's really worth it. I scored 84% in OCAJP SE8 using Jeanine Boyarsky one.

The book can help quickly find the answer. It is not its primary goal, but its broad, deep coverage of elementary topics make it a beneficial side effect! We usually try to avoid side effects in programming, but here it is one you don't want to miss.Highly recommended.
There are so many syntactical rules to master in Java. While my intent was not to pursue an Oracle Java certification, this book provides a good reference point to really understand Java. It assumes that you already know how to program in Java and provides great tips and ideas that one would have never thought of. The author of this book has really done an outstanding job of clarify subjects that were confusing to me. I would highly recommend this book to others intending to gain a good grasp of the subject.
